The Footballer Wannabe

Hello Everyone! :-) Today I played football with my friend. I was very excited and scared at the same time because its been awhile that I've been in a game field. As much as I love watching people play this game, its entirely different when you are in the field and actually one of the players. The tension is really high, mind focus is needed. You can't afford to lose.

The first half was really tough especially for me who doesn't play that much. My friend keeps thrashing me. I was beginning to get furious plus my viewer was also messing up. (Please I had to blame something so it should be my viewer who wasn't cooperating Lol.)  So I was having so much fun and we had a close fight (or so I thought.) I wanted to win badly.

 

In the end, I got knocked down on the course however I did my best. I needed more practice anyway. You can't be that good in just a day unless if you are Nahomi Kawasumi. I'm a huge fan of her and this uniform I'm wearing from milky-way is a tribute to Japan women's national football team. It's a limited group gift (I love generous creators.) When we found them I was completely shocked to find that they're totally FREE! The reason for my surprise is the fact that the full mesh avatar comes with a complete outfit. The eyes and hair color can be changed through the hud. You can also change the expression of your face and the eyes even have blink animations.

The creator, Magnum Yoshikawa, really could have charged a small fortune for all of these features especially considering some of the less well developed creations out there asking for a lot more money. Enjoying the Sun...

Hello there!Today I decided to take photos outside my skybox so I can play with Second Life's windlight settings and shadows for my pictures. It feels so refreshing as I used to do this a lot in the past.

Photos are taken at the beautiful Tramonto Region -> It All Starts With A Smile

This look is inspired by my friend Junnin Twine who accompanied me to the shoot. He was wearing jeans and a casual polo with his body tattooed. He was also carrying a guitar on his back. I thought I could pull a look that would go along with his style.

Do you Like my Avatar?

A lot of people have been complimenting me on my avatar recently and asking where they can get them. The skin is made by Milok Hermit of mothergoose and my shape is my original work. I am not too short nor too tall. I like to keep my height somewhere in the middle. So far I have not put the shape up for sale because I wanted to remain somewhat unique here in SL. But a friend suggested that I sell it for a higher than normal price so that those that really want it can have it while still keeping it a bit rare.

If you are interested in using this skin with mesh body parts, you will need to adjust the tone yourself because it does not have an applier to match the tone for you. In my case since I am using a Maitreya Lara Body, I use one of the preset skin tones (specifically the 6th tone) because it is the closest color to my skin. For the neck, I click fix on and neck size I set to zero.  Out of curiosity, I tried the Omega System Skin Layer hud for the Maitreya body and the result was not good. There are mis-matched parts like the nails, the toes and the breast area. But I would still recommend that you get the Omega System Layer hud because it is useful if you want to wear your old clothing layers on your mesh body like the favorite body tattoo I have on.

I hope that mothergoose will add an applier for mesh body parts to her skins because its really one of my favorites. I have been using this skin with my shape for about 2 years now.  I recommend her work for anyone that wants to go for an Asian appearance.

The Princess...

Today's look is inspired by Japan's Golden Week Holiday (子供の日) wherein we celebrate the children's personalities and their general happiness. I was thinking of wearing my toodledoo avatar but it won't be fun being a kid without a playmate. So maybe in my next post when my toodle buddy comes online. Meanwhile here's a look I call myself a Princess :D

My EveryDay Wear...

One thing I'm really excited about and missed as a Fashion blogger are hunt events like this. We get to introduced to old and new talented designers out there. I was able to grab a lot of cute stuffs like my new Oleander Hair, Fetch necklace, Bloom nails and I'd like to highlight my mesh denim Jacket dress by Dami because it looked so stylish and I really love it!

Hello it's me again. Today I'm going to show you a look that I've pulled together and call a Casual Professional Woman.

I'm wearing a long flowing mesh polo shirt tucked in well in the front and a little looser in the back. You won't believe it but I found this top for only 40 Linden :D The high waist business pants by Deetalez was a perfect match for this mesh top.

I'd also like to highlight my mesh hands by SLink. They are an elegant improvement over the base Second life hands. I love that they are available now and very popular because one thing that always looked a bit off about our bodies were our hands. These hands come with a hud that can help you match your skin tone and change your nail color. You can also change the length of your nails to short, medium or long. If you like my hands, you may also like their realistic feet as well.

Hello to My Blog! :)

Hi friends :) I know it has been a long time since I last blogged. Now that I have a bit more time I'm looking forward to doing something that I love in sharing fashions that I find with you again.

Lately I have been in the mood to try new styles in SL. I have found some interesting items and one of my favorites have been the mesh bodies. Have a look at this one, Just in case you aren't familiar with the mesh bodies, they are highly detailed replicas of all of the tiny details of the human body. You provide the shape for the core of the body as well as your favorite skin. On that canvas you add mesh details to body parts that SL alone once struggled to present well. Even your hands and feet get an upgrade so detailed you can wear sandals and show off your individual toes instead of the flat pads of meat that the classic SL body gave us. Many of these bodies also have proper nipples that look perky and life like.

I sort of have the feeling that there may not be much left in improving our shapes not that mesh has been fully embraced by artists and buyers. Who knows though, I might just be surprised, but for now I am enjoying the new life like me.

Beautiful skins have been in Second Life for quite a while but when it comes to looking our best for ourselves and the ones we love, the options for looking sexy just keep growing.

As a perfect example I present the Lolas Tango Mesh Breast! (Yay I am wearing them now!) You can easily customize your Lolas in a number of ways. {Review} 7 Deadly Skins Features Envy

To bring of the Seven Deadly Sins into the flesh with class takes a special touch.  As you can see by this feature, Izara Zuta, creator and owner of the 7 Deadly Skin Shop, seems to have finessed her concept into this sultry creation.

Envy goes beyond just a single well made skin, there are many different body types and details for you to choose from.

Envy skin features 12 body types and four skin tones. The available skin tones are light, medium, dark, and fantasy. The 12 body types are variations on features such as cleavage, smoothness,  freckles, and details.

I particularly like the freckled sunkissed body type shown here. Just one look at her will inspire Envy in the hearts of those that wish to look like her, and to those that wishes they can have her.
