I'm hanging out with my BFF at a very nice beach trying to forget our worries and just enjoy nature. We brought our floats along with us to help relax on the water while getting a head start on our summer tan. I love going to the beach and spending quality time with friends even if sometimes it's only just a day. It was a great short vacation together.

Happy Chinese New Year 2016!

The Chinese New Year is almost here and so I decided to get my friends together and take a photo to celebrate. It is also known as the Spring Festival which is the literal translation of the modern Chinese name. Celebrations tend to run from the evening before the first day until the fifteenth day of the first calendar month. In 2016, the Chinese New Year begins on Monday, February 8th.

Goth Style ~ The Beauty of Head Cosmetics!!

I wasn't really going into a complete edgy fashion look today but when I was in the process of styling myself, I got overwhelmed with the head cosmetics!! I was very excited because its been awhile since I use my Visage head. And honestly, even though I tried different types of heads, I'm still new to cosmetics and the different transformations it can give to your look.

The skin I'm using here is named Chiaki Visage by Mudskin. When I tried the demo, I fell inlove with it right away because of her sweet and innocent beauty. Even with the different types of hairstyles, I can tell you she is just simply pretty. Above photo is a raw shot of the skin (without the use of WL settings) to show you how the sweet innocent look turned into a complete Goth chic.

I'm really happy that Slink is now compatible with Omega appliers because you cannot only enjoy the classic layers with slink but also the different cosmetics of the many talented designers out there. The jacket is a group gift by Gabriel and it has 2 optional pocket bear attachments. Because of the season, I wear the cute Santa pocket bear. The mesh boots is the latest creation by R3VOLT. It comes with a color changing hud to match your best look. I must say I love the texture quality that are used here and the mesh fitting is really good. I was on my way to the Collaborate event yesterday to check on what’s in store for this month. The place was full as always and I was really lagging when I tried a demo of a mesh head from one of the featured designers. Because my pc couldn’t take the lag, I decided to just go to the main store of the designer. It turns out that the lag cloud had a silver lining because the main store was loaded with many gifts and this mesh head I’m wearing happened to be one of them! :D

The mesh head is named Sunny and it includes a default skin, a hud option for different make-ups for the eyes, lips and cheeks, and a skin applier for the mesh body users. I am very pleased to receive this present by the Genesis Lab as you can see, the head is very realistic and natural. In addition to being free, no group needed to claim the prize. I am not sure how long this generous offer will last so I would definitely head there and pick one up.

I also picked up this cute lingerie with a candy cane harness from the Miss Chelsea store. It really does capture the theme of the season. Of course you can always wear it inside in front of the fireplace where it is warm.

I Love Role-Play! :D

Once upon a time in a far away land, there was a princess named Shara. She was a kind soul that was next in line to the throne. Her father was a loving but very strict guardian of her innocence and rarely allowed her outside of the grounds of the royal residence. One day when her father was on a long journey, she demanded that her servants bring her the clothes of a commoner and take her out to see the way people lived outside of protected existence she was accustomed to.  Her servants tried to persuade her not to go as her father would be very angry with her but she reminded them that she would soon be queen and mentioned the fact that her father was far away and would not ever know as long as her identity was not uncovered. 

And so her servants brought her a common traveler's cloak and a beat up wagon from one of the peasants of the realm. She even had to use a stubborn and smelly donkey instead of the royal purebred horses she was used to. Her journey outside of the castle was a mixture of excitement and horror as she finally got to see what life was like for anyone of common blood.

I found this group gift skin really cute and pretty. I feel like I have to blog it and share this with you. I specially like the winged eyeliner that the skin already has on it. There are several skin tones included in the gift package and right now I'm wearing the Dark Chocolate tone. I also added a dollarbie beauty marks on it like the light soft freckles and face mole.
