SL7B - Callie Cline Dream On!

While on my preview expedition for Second Life's 7th Birthday, I ran into a builder whose also a friend, Callie Cline, who was working on her collaborative exhibit. I snapped photos and interviewed her about her take on the past, present, and future. I also get to ask her birthday message for SL. In my few months as a blogger, I've always a fan of Callie's artwork as she did a great job on a winter sim last year. It was a fun experience to have had reviewed her work in the past. For SL7B, here's some photos of the magic you can see at Callie Cline's.

Here's a brief interview I did with her:

ME:  Hello Callie :) I see from your profile that you have been here since 2005. What brought you to Second Life, and what was it like back then?

Callie Cline: A friend invited me to try it. I thought it was boring and awkward...it was weird because there were Goreans and a lot of sex clubs and it was very hard to understand.

ME: As for the present, I see you are at the SL7B celebration. What is your contribution and what inspired what you are making?

Callie Cline: People and touching their lives are my inspiration.

ME: Looking forward, what do you think Second Life will become in the future and what would you like to see?

Callie Cline: I think SL will probably be smaller and I hope LL gets their vision back to just do business better caring for it's core customers.

ME: Lastly If you had a birthday message for Second Life, what would it be?

Callie Cline: My message would be, "May you have many more birthdays and may all the residents in SL realize that more of us are stronger then one of us and we all need each other to play an important part of the team." :)

 Kiss me all Clover is Callie Cline's sexy green offering for St. Patricks day! It's time to kiss an Irish person or just kiss someone and pretend they are. Since green is my favorite color, I love this day and this outfit.

"Rock On!" says Callie Cline who has designed this beautiful daisy gem rings for the Accessory Fair 2010. This flower rings are menu driven rings with 12 gemstone colors available. I showed one off to my hubby and he said he likes it because with all of the colors available, it reminds him of the candy called ring pops. I don't think these are good to eat but they are totally cool to wear. I'm totally ready to welcome Spring!

Something Historical by Trident

Rossana Llewellyn, owner and designer of Trident introduces a line of  accessories inspired by historical research and archaeological discoveries. Most of her creations are influenced by her passion for ethnic and tribal designs. I'm showing a few of her creation which will also be feature on the grid wide Accessory Fair 2010.

Trident designs are focused on Northern European works but also expand into other areas and time periods. I think I'm beginning to like these pieces because they are really unique and everything seems so contemporary. These accessories are perfect for role playing costumes or for reconnecting to civilizations from ages ago.

You feel the Christmas Spirit on a Winter Sim

 Every places I go are mostly into the winter themed. I see a lot of snow, ice skating rinks, christmas trees,  snowflakes, they are everywhere. But one of the most realistic winter gushing snow emitter I've seen is from Klyks Klees of the Basic Elements.  You should check it yourself his new released item, the Winter's Breath Gusting Snow Emitter with a matching sound effect simply cool creation.  So its really cold and today I slid on my comfy warm sweater, matched it with a light brown scarf both from Shiki Designs. It's also the latest released by Shinichi Mathy and it comes in many nice colors. And to add the fun, I wear this new Santa's Hip Helper from Callie Cline. They are these cute hat and mouth stocking I wear, both encrusted with color changing gems. Really cuteness, go get yours too! :-)
