It's Manga Fair Time! :D

I am a huge fan of anime and manga so when I heard about the Manga Fair in SL, I got excited and couldn’t wait to visit the event right away. So this morning I went to the fair with my friend and I was happy to buy new items like my school uniform. I was very lucky to get the rare one from the Gacha Machine at the event. I really like that the hud provides all color options. We also discovered stores that provide free gift items from their store booth. 

The Manga fair began on July 19th  and will last until August 9th. The style of items you can get there are of the kawaii (cute) variety. Most of what I saw comes from popular anime. If that style of animation is even a little cool to you, you should check out the Manga fair event! :D

Lubbly Jubblies in July!

There is a monthly applier event called Lubbly Jubblies devoted to curvy mesh bodies and enhancements. The event began on July 15th and will run until August 13th. The Origami Event 2015

Today was my first time that I went to an Origami event. This festival is in celebration of one of the biggest holiday seasons in Japan, we call it Obon Matsuri. The celebrations in Second Life usually take place a little bit earlier than the real life version. What you will find here in SL is a story quest that combines love, horror, and an item hunt. I won't say too much about the story other than to say it is really interesting. You will have to pay attention to the characters you interact with the free hud you receive. It really reminds me of some of the modern online games which have quest lines. While there are some of Second Life’s technical limitations when compared to a traditional game, the production value is really quite good.

If you have never been to Japan during this time of year, this festival will give you a little taste of what it is like. Of course there are not ghost floating around, or are there? :) You will however find lots of food and drink along with games and fireworks. It is one of my favorite times of the year.

Getting Ready for Summer Travel!

While waiting for my trip to Paris, I took a photo along with my books and luggage that I'm bringing with me. Everything is set and ready and I can't wait to see the Eiffel tower. The Pillow Fight! :D

Tonight I was at a sleepover with little Liam and I completely ambushed him. The poor guy didn’t see it coming, he couldn't even pick up a pillow before I whacked him one lol! We ate pizza and cookies before settling down to tell ghost stories. Liam was bored by my stories I guess because he fell asleep.

Since it was just me, I got on the computer to play Second Life. Just like my real life, I fell asleep at the screen. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve woken up with keyboard keys imprinted on my forehead. Anyway it was a fun night. I love slumber parties! :D

Summer Travel Preview

Summer has come out in full force and it is blazing hot right now so I decided to cool off at the beach. For this trip, I brought along my floating flower made by Ocean Craft of the Since 1975 store. This outdoor water platform is made of mesh and has couples and single animations that you can enjoy. This flower platform is now available at the Cosmopolitan event.

Preview for Mesh Avenue Event - Fashiowl and Serenity Style

Mesh Avenue is about to launch their first monthly event on July 10, 2015. Various creators of Second Life will have the chance to design Summer Travel themed creations. This event is made possible by Mesh Avenue Pinoy Hideout and is meant to include all kinds of summer travel related concepts including those inspired by both real life and Second Life.

Although I do not live in America, I want to celebrate Freedom with you. Happy 4th of July Everyone and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
