So there was this little girl named Aubrey, who lived in a beautiful and trendy city in Japan. When she was younger, she did not feel she was very pretty. She was a beautiful child but her self image was distorted because no one paid her any attention. One day in her late teens, she decided to go to a holiday party with her friends. She was just going to go in a very casual clothes but her friend insisted that she wear the theme colors of the party. She took one look in the mirror and the old shell of herself seemed to have been broken. She was new somehow in her mind. She stood up a bit taller and walked out of the door.
At the party, she radiated confidence and this in turn brought her lots of attention. Mostly from her friends, but she also began to notice that the men at the party were taking notice of her. Most seemed too afraid or proud to approach her, but she could see it in their eyes. Maybe it was the dress, maybe it was just seeing herself in a different light, but something that day changed her. Now she feels like a woman.
